Dhangadhi : World Vision International Nepal has provided health materials to the Ministry of Social Development of the Sudoorpaschim Province. World Vision has provided health care products to help prevent and control the third wave of corona virus infections.
World Vision West Zone Development Program Chief Chetraj Bhattarai on Tuesday handed over to Health Ministry Secretary Rita Bhandari Joshi. According to the World Vision Western Region Development Office, Dhangadhi, 650 units of antigen kits, 200 units of blankets and 10 units of PFM worth Rs.
After receiving the materials, Secretary at the Ministry of Social Development, Joshi said that World Vision had earlier provided essential health care equipment including a large number of oxygen gas cylinders to prevent and control the first and second wave corona virus outbreak at the community level in the state. The material will be sent to local bodies for prevention and control of corona virus, she said.
Stating that World Vision has been actively working in partnership with the state and local governments for a long time, Bhattarai expressed his commitment to assist the state and local governments in the coming days for the prevention and control of corona virus infection.
Working in more than 100 countries around the world, World Vision Nepal has been conducting programs since 2001 focusing on the welfare of children through long term development works. World Vision is active in Kailali, Kanchanpur, Doti, Achham and Bajhang of Sudoorpaschim Province, Jumla of Karnali Province, Lalitpur and Kathmandu of Bagmati Province, Lamjung of r Gandaki Province and Udaipur of Province 1, Sindhuli and Sarlahi, Mahottari and Rautahat of Madhesh Province.
